The former Waterline pub will soon reopen as The Jolly Fisherman on the Quay after being transformed in a £700,000 investment.

Cant add much more to Rob's review,as he seems to cover everything.Out of the three casks on display, went for The Flying Scotsman which i think had come off the rails. We had a meal here, which was excellent and the presentation top notch.

ROB Camra left this review about Waterline

Large two storey modern bar with a decent sized outside seating area. It's a bit like IKEA inside, but is pleasant enough. It's mainly set up for dining and the menu looks very reasonable. Three handpumps on the bar serving Deuchars, Directors and Theakston's Grouse Beater when we called in. The Grouse Beater was clear as a bell and looked to be kept well enough, but sadly it was just a poor beer from the brewery tasting and smelling of flowers, not good. It's rather pricey in here, almost London prices, it's OK for one though.
