What was once a happy and convivial pub attracting a diverse clientelle from the whole of Heaton has now descended into a den of inequity! The current hosts appear to have no idea as to how a pub should be managed! The pub regularly runs out of beer, the beer is not kept properly, and the atmosphere is awful on most occasions! In order to bolster trade a sing-along is organised in the main room on Sunday evenings, but this simply attracts a poor audience. This is not a pub within which to linger! One also suspects that shady dealings take place in the toilets with the full knowledge of the staff!
