Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Causey Arch Inn
Old inn perched on the sloping hillside overlooking the Causey Burn valley and a short walk from the venerable structure and the adjacent station on the heritage Tanfield Railway. The main bar, lounge and dining areas are at road level on one side but a storey above another small bar and the terrace. Just one of the three handpumps was working when I visited, with the local Beamish Silver Buckles IPA (£3.50) being the offering.
