The flagship pub of the Crafted Projects group, with an emphasis on craft ales albeit with premium pricing. My main gripe is their decision to paint all the interior in a dingy dark green, which makes the place feel terribly gloomy, although it does have a fair amount of arty lighting. Quite full of trendy types, but I did find a little room at the back which was less busy though. Perhaps a bit overdone, but the range of 9 unusual ales was creditable if pricey.

Lady Grey's was our final stop on a night out in Newcastle, as so often is the case when we visit, due to its 2am closing time.
As we approached, we could see that the pub was packed, with many spilling out onto the pavements despite it only being a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
The central bar has seating either side, but it was standing room only for late arrivals such as ourselves. Nevertheless, service was swift and the beer range was good as usual.
The regular beer is Ridgeside Stage Door Blonde. Guests were Atom Retrograde Motion, Almasty Green Pale, Anspach & Hobday The London ESB, Fallen Platform C, Arbor I Speak For The Trees, Cullercoats NE30 & Thornbridge Made North. They no longer appear to serve a real cider.
As previous people have said, it is dark inside. We mainly use this pub as a late night venue. But it's good enough to head to for a drink at any time of the day.
