The inn has been know as the Seahorse since the 18th century, but was originally called The Burton when it was built in 1709. The Seahorse was used as a coaching inn, and has stabling for up to eight horses making it a convenient place to have changed horses on the way to the sea.
Guests will be able to browse a new menu which includes a wide variety of freshly prepared classic pub dishes such as Slow Cooked Shoulder of Lamb, daily fresh fish dishes and Homemade Pie of the Day. There is also a separate lunch menu offering freshly made sandwiches and salads, perfect if you’re just nipping in for a quick bite.
Look out for the blackboard showing today’s specials, and the thoughtfully selected range of delicious vegetarian options.
