what a hidden gem. no smoking pub, very clean, friendly, cask ales & continental lagers, seperate eating & without a doubt the best food in epsom.

highly recomended for any ocasion

UPDATE: Had my wifes birthday party in the function room. Cant thank the staff enough for all the help. great food as always.

The Rising Sun is now a restaurant masquerading as a pub. The beer is very expensive beer (£2.90 for a pint of ordinary bitter). If you like your beer don't bother drinking here as there are some proper pubs within a very short walk.

i would like to recommend this pub highly. well kept beer, good staff, great food. venison a must for sunday lunch.
