Entering with some trepidation thanks to the "Hungry Horse" branding, we found a quite reasonable modern pub well-located in the centre of the village. The family dining part is kept off to one side with its own entrance, while the main part of the pub features a large bar fitted with dark wood high tables, arranged around two large sports screens. The dining side is more brightly decorated but the whole pub is tidy and well-furnished. There is a roadside patio to the front and a tabled garden behind. Just GK IPA on handpump but condition was very good. Note that access to the pub car park is through the pay and display car park to the side.
