I must admit that the pint of Grolsh I had was truly excellent but this is not surprising considering the clientele. If you are a seasoned veteran drinker, able to handle yourself and perhaps in the need for occasional company but not too fussy then, by my experience and from what I have been told this is the place for you.
Certainly I would not take any of my children there. The "Conservatory" is a partially covered open area at the front almost directly opening out onto the seafront road which the locals use for cruising and occasionally racing. I saw no specific facilities for children It is a pub for heavy drinkers.These are my views only and I accept no liability whatsoever, but my views are honest.
