I think the chef has changed now but as far as I know, the food is excellent and home cooked. I haven't been but a friend said it was "proper" food, the landlord and landlady are the same and the karaoke and music nights are very popular.

A large pub that caters for live music, karaoke,quiz nights etc, they also have a large play area thats away from the road ( safe for the kiddie winks ). Caz & Dave have just taken the pub over, they are personal friends and a wonderfull couple that will make you feel at home with the excellent food that chef Richard will prepare for you. The regulars are a very nice crowd and along with our "Gert" it makes for a great night out. A large car park to the side of the pub for those that drive will I'm sure make you want to return especially for the Sunday Lunches.
