Simply-furnished pub, with a friendly landlady and a decent pint of cask Tetleys. Good place to stop if changing trains at Crewe station (about 5 minutes walk). (NB - Review dates from September 2008.)

A great little pub once known as the Pig and the locals still call it by that name, the name derives from the time many years ago when an escaped pig ran through the bar the staff and customers still take in little pig ornaments to put behind the bar, very nice well kept beer very clean and tidy with friendly staff and customers.highly recommended .

Nice little pub about a 5 minute walk from Crewe station so perfect for that pint between trains! Always a good pint of Tetley Dark with and a range of guest ales
