The Lamb Inn is a small pub with a central fireplace that separates the banquette seating with tables down the left from seating to the right that is faced by a short bar counter on the right rear wall. There’s a jukebox and dartboard as well as a television that was playing some crime drama during my recent Wednesday evening visit. Standard keg is available and one of the four hand pumps was in operation drawing Wye Valley’s Butty Back. There was only one other customer who was sat at the bar talking to the woman working the jump. She was polite enough, but I didn’t see anything here that would have me rushing back. This pub is currently available to let.

No ale at all and three locals trying to get the most F words in a sentence. Not a nice pub.

Unlike David Hunter when we called in on Saturday lunch time, we found the customers to be very chatty although we were strangers, as was the Barmaid. Beer range was a predictable three national brands but they were in ok condition. Pleasant surroundings as well. so well worth a visit.
