Nothing but Doombore on the ale side which I did not drink. Poor pub.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Theatre Bar

This is a terraced Georgian styled building in grey and pale green, with rear patio. A former studenty kind of place when it was the Firkin (wood benches and scored tables) it has re-opened and called itself the Theatre Bar as, yes, the theatre is opposite. The open plan room is in red, cream and pale green, with wood floor and white ceiling. There are recovered bench seats and bistro pictures on the walls. The TV was silent and the music easy listening at a decent level. The service was fine and a few locals seemed to be in. Beer; two real ale pumps, both with clips turned around (Doombar was one). The usual kegs are on display although the Theakston's MILD was going to be taken out - so i just had Guinness. A tidy enough re-invention, but nothing for the real ale drinker.
