Soup Dragon left this review about The Globe At Rugeley

A large terraced corner brick pub

The interior had a large bar (unseen as we are miserable and went into the other room where noboday was in) and a lounge, which was in white and purple, with a string course of green tiles. It looked a little scruffy, as though it had seen better days; with holes in seats, worn carpet and a hole or two in the walls, but there were a few old prints on the walls and a fireplace. Service was fine and there was nobody else in - i think we may have caught the place at a good time for unsociables like myself.

Beer; all tap stuff, except Banks's MILD and bitter on Cask electronic pump. The MILD was OK.

I think i got here at the right time. Yes, i would return on a Sunday afternoon, not so sure about a Friday night.
