Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Coach & Horses Inn

Good-looking village pub at the east end of the High Street, with a relatively unfussy facade and a pair of tidy, semi-traditional seating / dining areas on each side of the central bar area (one with a dartboard) and another separate small room at one end). Also has a substantial beer garden to the rear. Pedigree, Tribute (£3.80) and Laine's Breaker pale ale available from three of the four handpumps.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Coach & Horses Inn

A detached white rendered former coaching inn, with black paintwork, with outbuildings, including a converted nissan hut as a function room, as well as a great beer garden. In the GBG 2010.

The interior is an open plan collection of small dining areas, including a conservatory, there is sadly no actual bar area - i even asked the staff in case i missed it! The decor is mainly red and yellow with lots of print and photographs of the pub and village. The service was fine and the place crammed with diners and those, like us, that retreated to the beer garden. We did not eat so can't comment on that, but i did notice several of the tables had wood puzzle things on them - something to do whilst waiting for your food no doubt.

Beer; tap stuff with the an ok Pedigree, Bombardier and Black Sheep on handpull.

Such as shame this was all foody really - its a nice place and i would like to go back and eat - but the beer garden on a sunny day was more than acceptable. Not too sure, considering the generic beers they have on, why this place is in the GBG?, especially with the Goats Head up the road isn't - still, try it, but go when hungry!
