One of the oldest pubs in Chester city centre, this charming pub can be found as you walk down towards Handbridge towards the river Dee, they serve very fine food during the day and very good selection of beers and lagers, the building has some old original tudor beams etc and you can feel the history steep throughout the inn, the staff are very friendly and always a very good atmosphere, the pub has a low light due to the old style windows, very nice for couples.

Went for a meal here, food was brilliant, and the pub has heaps of character. Going back to Chester next May and hope to stay at the Kings Head.
