What a great relief this place is, it no pretentions of grandeur, it sells good beer and even better cocktails, its got a great jukebox. Its a proper pub (apart from the fact its a barge)its got a massive beer garden which is great when the the sun decides to come out. We decided to try one of their vast range of cocktails which was made in front of us using proper spirits not the cheap junk which is usually all you get anywhere else and it was great. The guy who runs it has been there about 16 years which I guess is unusual in this day and age. All in all a refreshing change from the norm of plastic food and chromium plated gin palaces.
