This Nepalese restaurant is latest incarnation of the former Squire Bassett pub - a 30s-style build on the road leading out of the village towards Oxford. Upon entering from the front, you are offered the option of restaurant to the left or bar to the right. The right-hand room is small with the bar occupying the left diagonal, a handful of bar stools and two tables with leather armchair seats, along with BBC News playing on a flatscreen TV at the rear of the room to no-one in particular. Two pumps dispensed Wychwood Hobgoblin, although one was reversed. We didn't bother.
