The Elms is a large pub that is set well back from the road in its own grounds,the pub looks more like a manor house from the outside.
Once inside the main bar area is to the left this is a fairly large L shaped room which had a few bench seats and normal tables and chairs,there was a seperate dining room to the right.
With this pub looking so grand from the outside i thought the inside looked very tired and in need of some attention,there were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter option was John Smiths smooth crap and this was a very crap drink.
This is not a pub to walk out of your way to do like i did.
