The Stage Hotel is situated opposite the forest recreation ground at the east end of gregory boulevard.
Once inside the public bar is to the left,once in this room the bar is on the right facing the windows,the room is fairly long and had modern bare boards with a pool table at the far end,there were a few bar stools and leather settes around the edges of the room.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg option was Tetley extra cold crap so i had a Guinness which was also a pretty poor drink.
The pub was fairly busy and it had a bit of an edgy atmosphere to it.
