Alan Winfield left this review about The Greenwood Tree

The Greenwood Tree was a 50s built estate pub that had good views over the south of Nottingham.
This pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and once inside there were a couple of rooms that i noticed the lounge was fairly smart and comfortable and there was a decent sized bar.
There were two real ales on here with both Shipstones bitter and mild being very nice drinks,i think this pub is still standing and maybe still open but under a different name but i hav'nt been by it recently to see if this is right.
