The Duke of Newcastle was a largish back street pub that looked fairly nice from the outside,once inside there were a few different rooms,there was a decent sized bar that was fairly basic and a more comfortable lounge.
This pub used to be an Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar both the Home mild and bitter were decent drinks here.
Sadly this pub has now closed down and it is probably demolished by now,another sad loss for Nottingham.
