Real Ale Ray left this review about The Dyvels

I really liked it here, the staff were friendly and welcoming and my beer was outstanding. Three pumps on the front bar serving Laine Brewery Breaker and Laine Brewery Dyvels Pale Ale and one cider. The pale ale was an excellent session ale and easily passed the three pint test.
The interior had a good sized lounge/bar area, plus a further smaller quieter lounge at the rear, with an original cask iron stove featured in the back wall and lots of wacky orange coloured bucket seats. There was also a good sized patio beer garden down the side. Very handy for the Railway Station and the Valley Indian restaurant at the station.

Ian Young left this review about The Dyvel's Inn

We went in at lunchtime. There was a decent list of meals. I chose the Burger and chips for £7, my wife chose the scampi and chips at £7 and our friends chose the fish and chips with mushy peas at £10. The fish were enormous and very good. My wife and I were happy with our meals for the price. Service was attentive and the social distancing well planned and executed. We'd definitely go back.

Friendly pub close to the railway station with public bar and separate dining area. Food served anywhere and we enjoyed ours in the beautiful garden.
Enjoyed the Youngs Special. There were 3 other ales available too. 2010 entry in Good Beer Guide.
