Quite simple,, don't stay here.... There's nothing wrong with the hotel.... It's very pretty... Bamburgh is lovely... But god help you if your'e foolish enough to give your credit card details,,, I went in to the hotel in may, made an enquiry for a double room in july, gave my details, but didn't have the £100 deposit at the time.... I was told, quite clearly, if i didn't ring in 48hrs, my booking enquiry would be cancelled... I took them at their word, forgot all about it, and lo and behold, 2months later, £100 taken out of my bank, without my permission, by yes,, The Mizen Head Hotel..... Do NOT give them your card details,,, THIS HOTEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED.......
