The Wayfarers is an Everards pub with a U-shaped bar counter protruding from the right-hand wall. This serves seating areas to the front, left and rear. Standard and premium keg were available and three of the four hand pumps were in operation drawing Everards Beacon Hill, Retro Yakima and Tiger. I didn’t spot any food menus during a recent midweek late afternoon visit, but there is a kitchen hatch in the front right wall so food is available. I spotted a couple of televisions that were off and low background music was playing. The pub was empty apart from a group of around fifteen, many of them in pushchairs. One of the men was a bit pissed and kept shouting, much to the annoyance of one of the mums who was trying to rock a baby to sleep. The service was polite, but I didn’t see anything here that would warrant the short walk out of town for a revisit.

Mild Drinker left this review about Wayfarers Inn

An attractive looking Everards ran pub. Looks a lot bigger on the outside than it actually is once entering. Only 2 ales on offer, Tiger and the Beacon Hill which I went for at £3.40. It was very busy inside with no spare tables on a Sunday afternoon. Overpowering music was playing during my visit. Nice little beer garden at the rear. Definitely one for the locals but not one I'd personally revisit.
