This little pub is off the tourist trail, but well worth a visit and it's only a five minute walk from the town centre. Excellent pint of Cameron's Strongarm and Tetley's Bitter. Enjoy a pint with the local Whitby folk and sample the live Folk music sessions every Tuesday evening and the first Saturday evening of each month. Keith Swales provides live 50's and 60's music on occasional Friday evenings. This little pub is now included in the 2009 Good Beer Guide, and quite right too. Guest beer at the moment is Everards Bitter
