Andy Cruickshank left this review about The Wheatsheaf Inn

Visited many a time since it has been taken over by the present owner, always a warm friendly welcome by the staff. Well decorated and very clean and tidy. Good menu at good prices, food has always been excellent and most produce is sourced locally. On last visit I had rib eye which was cooked to perfection and REAL chips and salad. The wife had chicken stroganoff which she said was excellent too….
The pub is even better now they take plastic!
