The outside is a bit dilapidated and the pub is for sale, inside it's traditional but tarted up in a modernish way. Mainly designed to appeal to the younger drinker, although perhaps not the ones in the push chairs and running round that I shared the pub with, the parents were scoffing fish & chips from next door. It's got some big speakers, a DJ rig and disco lights, probably not big on the wants list of the OAPs in the other corner, although the screens and machines may well be. Furnishing is traditional with Britannias and banquette seating and stools, the decor likewise with old photos and maps. On the beer front you can choose from any one of three lagers, Guinness, Strongbow, John Smith Smooth cold or Worthington smooth.

Nice friendly little pub it was mid Saturday afternoon a good few in made to feel welcome the landlord said thanks when leaving that counts a lot
