A large holidaymakers' pub, with its own camper van site adjacent and extensive gardens. The interior is split into three or four areas with a central bar, and a pool table at the rear. Heavily targeted at family dining, with a barbecue area at the back also. The selection of draught ales was from the wider Marstons range - Ringwood, Jennings etc. Handy for nearby Sewerby Hall and gardens

Have been a ouple of times with family inc. grandkids. Made very welcome, we enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the company. Fantastic chips! shouldn't eat them, going back for more. Very pleasant staff. Not expensive.
Even though I live in Leeds the Ship will see a lot of me. Tony
