A very well kept smart pub with a central bar, serving their ales directly from the tap room. staff are friendly and chatty. Four handpumps, I went for the Oakham JHB.

This pub is almost opposite the Kings Arms and i was'nt expecting it to be that good but once inside the pub was fairly smart and quite busy.
There were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Winters Golden this was quite nice the other beers were Oakham JHB,Shepherd neame Spitfire and GK Abbot.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Freemasons Arms
Quiet pub, possibly suffering location-wise from proximity of several other top-notch beer pubs. However, five real ales are on offer, served direct from the tap room at the back. Had a very pleasant pint of the local Winter's Golden.
