Village pub with good local following, and regular live music. Main bar with paved floor runs across the front of the pub, with a restaurant area to the side. Good selection of ales.

This is a locals pub. There is a bar to the left which was probably the public, a 'smoke room' to the right with a small restaurant area at the back on the way out to the garden, which is pleasant with the bowls club green next to it. A selection of real ales, although my first glass of Adnams Gunhill was not good. The barmaid willingly changed it, and the second was better, but still not how it should be. However, it was a hot day and she did admit none had been poured that day. Overall it is a pleasant little pub, but I will not make a point of visiting again.
