A friendly Fuller's pub with a village feel. Two basic rooms - one carpeted, one bare-boarded with a smaller area on a lower level occasioned for dining, although there was little evidence of this on my early Friday evening visit. London Pride and Seafarers x 2 comprise the limited ale range (£2 a half), but a friendly barmaid, middle of the road muzak and amiable locals made for a pleasant enough stop-off even if it's never going be a world-beater.
