Previously The Pidgeon, it's now essentially an Indian restaurant with a public cocktail bar which has a rather poncey night club feel to it. The building is a large 1930s suburban pub with its own car park. Lots of purple lighting and padded seats give it the aura of a Hamburg brothel's waiting room. We were put off eating by the crowd of waitresses smoking in the doorway, but in any case the food was drastically over-priced, the wine list was awful and there was no real ale. This one fails to curry favour.
