Steve C left this review about The Lord Clyde

My first and last visit to the Lord Clyde was on 8th May 1995 which was a bank holiday for VE Day. The barmaid was very friendly and I remember a huge pub dog that wasn’t to be messed with. This was the venue for my first and last karaoke venture and even my mum was disgusted by my rendition of a Take That song that was popular at the time. I was a nineteen year old lager boy so I cannot remember whether there were any hand pumps.

This was a typical back street local’s boozer and I’d be interested to know what it is like now.
