The seven stars, was another very busy public house, with a great atmosphere, everybody knew each other in there, it had a pool table and dart board in the back room too, the vault was small and narrow with frosted windows while the main lounge used to consist of two rooms with a low partition, later the pub received a refurb and an extension, but the timing was bad for the old terrace houses around the pub where all the local drinkers lived were beginning to be knocked down and people were moving on, also the breweries refusal to have any pool or snooker tables in its pubs put the younger generation off from going in, so that’s how it came to an end.
Now there are new houses springing up all around it now so let hope the boards come down and it opens its doors once again.

The Seven Stars was a decent looking stand alone pub that was quite close to a railway bridge.
This pub was quite nice inside with a bar and a very comfortable lounge i had a drink in the lounge and i was quite happy sitting in here.
This pub was a Joseph Holts tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
This was a really nice pub with very nice cheap beer.
It is sad to see that this pub has now closed down.
