Alan Winfield left this review about Great Western Inn

The Great Western looks like an oldish pub but it is in the newish redeveloped area of moss side.
This pub looks a bit different on the outside with a shelter running across the front of the pub and there is also a very small bay window.
Once inside the pub was fairly smart and it had an irish feel to it and it also had a menacing atmosphere to it,the pub had small Websters signs outside but there were Wlisons beers on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Websters Yorkshire bitter.
This pub still looks functional and the same as it did when i visited it all those years ago.
