As Graham describes, a functional with three cask on, BHB Pave The Way, London Pride and Portobello Westway Pale(in fair shape) and a Doom Bar clip turned. I only came here as Ye Olde Rose & Crown was late opening, It filled a gap.

Somewhat modernised and with a definite excess of sports screens, this busy place by the station is not a bad pub overall and quite fit for purpose. The beers were better than expected, with two from Portobello, Doom Bar and something from ELB coming soon. A small row of Brewdog taps makes up the unexciting craft offering however. Convenient for changing trains, buses etc but wouldn't spend the night here.

Six ales on handpump on our visit, all of which were nationals. I went for the London Pride which was a good pint, whilst Mrs A went for Black Sheep. I found the pub to be well kept and comfortable. Quite funky in places with the purple and lime green colours as the main theme. An original feature here was the boot scrapes dotted along the bar plinths, something I haven't come across before.
