Been drinking in the ram for 20 years now and seen lots of changes.

Its not everyone's cup of tea but I have the opinion that if you want a swanky pub go to the CCC. The Ram is a quality place.

You know what you're getting. Karaoke night is always fun. The toilets are a lot better these days. And meet some interesting characters on every visit. Everything about the place is 6/10 it's perfect for a Friday binge or a Sunday hair of dog.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Cat

Surprisingly large unbranded Youngs (Ram) pub at the entrance to the brutalist architecture of Catford Shopping Centre. Wedge-shaped interior on two levels separated by three steps. Rather 70s appearance (and music to match when I was there) and no natural light inside. Doom Bar supplementing Ordinary (£2.75) and Special from three of four handpumps in use.

Steve C left this review about The Catford Ram

The Catford ram is located on the edge of a shopping centre and is faced by some market traders that sell boiler chickens, reggae LPs and will happily unlock mobile phones. The frontage conjures up thoughts of a small seedy bar that could do with a deep clean, but the interior is expansive and there is no problem with cleanliness. Natural light is lacking as the only windows are the two small ones at the entrance that are half blocked out with posters advertising Sky Sports and cheap food. There is some seating at the front of the pub, but the majority of the seating is in the raised section on the left hand side of the pub where a pool table can also be found. Along the right hand wall is the bar where standard draught products can be purchased from a miserable as sin barmaid. One of the three hand pumps was unused leaving Waggledance and Ordinary as the ale options. This is a Young’s pub so I was surprised not to see Special available as the other customers present during my early Friday afternoon visit looked as though they were used to drinking beers with a high ABV.
Plasma screens are located throughout for showing Sky Sports and there were around twenty people watching an England v West Indies test match. Strangely this was muted and some background music was playing. Live entertainment is advertised for the weekends.

I found it quite depressing in here which was due to the lack of light, lifeless atmosphere and sullen service. This isn’t a pub that I will be rushing back to.
