A good, no nonsense, down to earth pub. Good atmosphere and some of the regulars are real characters. If you want to a traditional town pub without all the tourist bells and whistles then visit the Constitution - If plastic theme bars are your thing you will be disappointed

Nice interior, pictures of ships adorn the walls. Does food and real ale, 3 pumps, Spitfire, Courage Best, Adnams. Worth a visit.
