The Millstone is a decent sized stone built pub.
The front door to this pub is out of use,so we used the side entrance,once inside there was a fairly large main room which had the bar in the left corner,the room was carpeted and had bench seating which had cushions on them and chairs,there was a small snug to the left and another seperate room to the rear which i did not look in.
The pub is an Everards tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Everards Tiger bitter which was a decent drink,the other beer was Everards Original.
This was a decent enough pub to have drink in.

After walking round hills and holes, feeling a bit sweaty and tired, we cam across this little beauty of a pub. We were only stopping in for a quick drink, but decided to have a look on the menu. The landlord came out and spoke to us, What a lovely friendly bloke, we said we were debating having some food, but didnt feel that we were dressed appropriately to go into the pub, he said it didnt matter, We noticed that there was nothing on the menu that my 7 year old son would eat, the landlord said dont worry, I will get him some chicken nuggets and chips, which he did, the service was great, the staff were so so friendly an polite and they went out of their way for us, Never felt so welcome and at ease in a pub before and will definatly be going back again soon.
