This pub is the oldest in Buckingham and is situated in the conservation area. It is famous locally for real ale, with three ales on at all times plus a scrumpy. Sport is a strong point with three large flat screens for all the big events. A very attractive feature is the newly redeveloped garden, which has seen it double in size, and new furniture to go with it. Two real fires complete the offer, and please note that the reputation of being a young person's haunt no longer applies. All in all, worth a visit.
