The Ellesmere Inn is a single roomed pub with an L-shaped bar counter, that supports standard keg alongside Madri, on the rear wall. Seating is found on the rear wall either side of the bar. To the right is a pool table and dartboard and in the left front corner is a DJ booth that was being used as a storage area. Televisions throughout were airing BBC News, BT Sport is advertised. During my recent Thursday evening visit there was a good atmosphere being generated by the friendly governor and 15 or so locals. I’d pop back in if passing.

Fairly standard one roomed locals local. There's a pool table, dartboard and 3 big TV's and also two feral kids wandering around. Despite the kids there was a large, loud, very sweary bloke stood at the bar. There's now a handpump in here despite what CAMRA say on Whatpub it was pulling Wainwright. I only asked for a half, but she started pulling a pint until I stopped her. Never mind she said and charged me for the half and gave me the rest for free, so she can have an extra point for that. It was a surprising decent drink of Wainwright and at £2.80 per pint it was a bit of a bargain.
