The Wellington is a down to earth no frills town centre local with a good set of friendly and chatty regulars.Todmorden was chosen for our yearly March ride out and called in here around 1pm where we stayed most of the afternoon watching the Cheltenham festival on TV.
The hosts kindly laid on soup and pasties which was much appreciated by all 15 of us.

The Wellington is a small basic pub that is situated in the middle of Todmorden.
Once inside there is a small single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the bar is on the left side, the room is carpeted, the seating is bench type and chairs and one tall table and chairs to the rear, there were two TVs showing the Man Utd v Leicester City game and another TV to the front was showing horse racing.
There was one real ale on the bar, which was Thwaites Wainwright, this was a decent drink.
The pub seems to be popular with older drinkers.

Not that bad. One cask ale (Wainwright's). A single room and definitely an older clientele. It was interesting as it seemed to be the haunt of Todmordens, and possibly England's, fattest bastard.
