This pub has a very misleading name as it's not a tap at all really. We called in on a Thursday early evening and couldn't get a seat anywhere as the pub was full of diners. A pedestrain range of Moorhouses White Witch and Wainwright didn't help the "tap" idenity either. My pint was in reasonable nick, but it's just a middle class dining pub really.

A good old traditional pub. Various drinking areas inside with the bar to your left as you enter. 3 handpumps but only 2 dispensing Thwaites Wainwright and Original. 2 large unused fireplaces in the pub. I liked it.
