First time heading down there last night and I was pretty impressed. 15 years ago there were a good few decent pubs that looked after Rockers and Co. Now you're lucky if you find a pub with a few Metallica tunes on the Juke Box (I use that as an example because of the MTV years). Got in and was pleasantly suprised by the size and diversity of the crowd. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was bang on. Ended up chatting to the guys working there and it was great to feel welcome on the first night. Good selection of booze at reasonable prices and live music. Definately heading back!
