It must have been the same young lady working there when I called in a few weeks ago !! Still no real beer but it was busy for mid afternoon and I sat adjacent some " old boys " who were debating the merits [or not] of other pubs in the area, some of which must have closed quite a few years back . . . .

I dont think there is any thing wrong with the place yes the beers cheap but the clientele is ok not like lush and its spotlessly clean and warm it was the 4th of December very cold and wet A good looking black girl served me with a smile and very polite Will call again

Large lager barn with a club at the rear. An almost totally featureless room with several big screen TV's and a quiz machine, plus a few bandits. It was pretty busy at 6:10 last Friday and I couldn't work out why initially. As there was no real stuff I asked for a half of Carlsberg. The barman said " You sure? A half is £1.40 and a pint is only £1.60". So of course I had a pint. £1.60!!!! no wonder it was full. This may well have been happy hour, I didn't ask. I can't really think of any reason why I would ever visit here again unless I've fallen on very hard times. Gets an extra point for the price.
