A GK town pub and hotel which has the standard formulaic menu and a choice of two ales, GK IPA and Abbott. There was a third handpump on the bar but it was dry and unclipped. It was originally 3 terraced houses, and the original structure can be seen by the layout of the single long bar across the front. The main drinking area and bar counter are at one end, while the remaining two areas are laid out for diners. There is a separate restaurant area at the back which is out of bounds to dogs. There is also a courtyard garden at the back. The food was well microwaved, and it was served with a smile by one of the young staff, a pleasant bunch who made us feel very welcome. An enjoyable lunch in pleasant surroundings, so worth a revisit if passing.

I would like to thank Helen at the Woolpack in Beckington for making us feel so welcome on Sunday evening, she is a true asset and my son Mak loved her to pieces, when we come to Somerset next we will be staying at the Woolpack thats for sure, only wish i found you before we came down this time!!!! total A* all the way, food, hospitality, atmosphere could not of been better, thankyou again!!!! :):):):)
