Alan Winfield left this review about The Pineapple Inn

The Pineapple was a basic looking pub that was painted white, the pub was situated on the busy stockport road.
Once inisde there were two basic rooms, there was a very basic bar, this is the room i had a drink in,the lounge looked a bit smarter but was still on the basic side.
The pub had Bass signs outside, but there were no Bass beers on the bar,i think the pub had just been taken over by Burtonwood brewery, there were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Burtonwood bitter which was a pretty poor drink.
This was definatly a locals pub.
The pub now looks to be in a very sorry state, with it being tinned up.
