Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Copperfield
Nothing very Dickensian about this modernised Stonehouse pub / restaurant, although the original front part was around in his day. Anyway, it has been extended one or more times so is larger than one might expect. Usual anonymous furniture and decor in the various seating / dining areas, but the split-level side and rear beer garden (with both paved and grassed areas) was quite pleasant in the summer sunshine. Normally serves Doom Bar from one of the three handpumps, but a delivery was awaited when I called in, meaning that I ended up with a BrewDog Planet Pale (£2.35, half).

I can't believe there are no reviews of this pub. I love this place. The carvery is fantastic value at just £3.69 and they are now doing a massive truck stop type breakfast for JUST £2.99. Nice bar and a good selections of beers and wines. Massive grounds and beer garden.. What are you waiting for?
Get down there and treat yourself and support this big pub so I can continue to enjoy it.
