Located in a fine spot at The Swale end of the historic High Street, this attractive pub was already busy with people having a late breakfast / early lunch when I called in just before noon on a Saturday. The main bar is accessed via the corner entrance, with another small area with three tables at the front and a two-part dining room at the back. Also has a patio and decking beer garden at the back and some wooden benches out on the pavement. Two Timothy Taylor beers available from the bank of three handpumps: Landlord and Boltmaker (£3.90).

A quaint corner pub on the seafront, there are 3 bars all floorboarded. The first thing you notice is the mature clientele and the decent, albeit too loud, jukebox. It's popular with visiting seamen and has a good reputation for its beer. The bar staff are very pleasant, free wifi is available, it has a small pub animal wandering around (like a dog only smaller). There is an open fire in thr Captain's Bar, all three bars are cosy and welcoming. Three ales on, I had Nutty Black, which was beautifully kept and thoroughly enjoyable. Seems to be the best pub in Queenborough by a long way and well worth a visit
