Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Redstart

Quite an imposing (inter-war?) building with a gambrel roof, located beside a narrow lane on the western edge of the Maidstone conurbation with a view over the fields. Inside, you find a 'L'-shaped bar / restaurant with a central counter. Slightly dated in appearance, but very tidy and well cared for. Decent-sized beer garden to the rear. Various food offers during the week. Harvey's (£3.50) and Young's Special available from two of three handpumps.
